We still have a few more photos coming along with some other surprises we will be adding to our New Gallery! We will update you as appropriate. Right now, we Welcome:
Title: Chief II
“Chief is a gorgeous Kiger mustang at Return to Freedom Wild Horse Sanctuary (RTF).
Years ago, he was captured by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and when they tried to break him, he would not break. So, they tied him to the ground, intentionally dehydrating him to break his spirit. It didn’t work. So, then he was taken to a slaughterhouse auction where, thankfully, RTF outbid every one.
Now Chief and his 6 Kiger mares are very happy and healthy at RTF. He carries himself with such a strong and noble spirit that I have probably a thousand photographs of him. This one says it all to me.
If you zoom in on Chief’s neck, you will see the BLM freeze mark branded on his neck.”

Title: Kick it up a notch
“Description: As a group of wild horses from the Challis Herd ran by, I was able to quickly fire off this shot. Then I edited like a painting because that is the way the lighting called to me. To me, doing so seems to emphasize the exciting moment.
For me, there is little more exciting than seeing and hearing a herd of wild horses running. You can feel their thunder in your feet. You can feel your heart race with them. The raw power and beauty is so moving.”
