This 3.5-hour, introductory wire-wrapping class will cover the basic fundamentals of wrapping an undrilled stone cabochon with sterling silver wire. You’ll create your own beautiful pendant and learn several design variations to make it your own and recreate at home.
In this session, we’ll cover the basic wrap with a crisscross or heart-shaped top. This design is perfect for both beginners and return learners looking to learn a new style.
You’ll receive following for use during the class, and to keep!
- * One undrilled stone of your choice, approximately 3 cm x 2 cm
- * ~3 feet of 0.925 solid sterling silver wire
- * The Beadsmith 8-Piece professional-quality jewelry pliers set (The same tools I use!)
- * Free silver polishing of your finished product, if desired
Beginning your wire-wrapping journey can be intimidating, and many learners waste time, money, and materials learning what works best, which materials to buy, and how to use their tools. The goal of this class is to avoid some of the learning curve and provide you with the quality tools and knowledge you’ll need to begin creating your own works of art.
